Michal is a Ph.D. student in the direct track for research psychology with a President’s Scholarship at the University of Haifa.
She manages the Psychotherapy Research Lab of Prof. Zilcha-Mano. In her research and therapeutic work, Michal distinguishes between two main components: a trait-like component that refers to individual differences in the general tendency to form relationships, including the relationship with the therapist, and a state-like component that refers to the unique characteristics of the relationship between the patient and the therapist and their ability to establish a strong alliance. Another area of interest for Michal is integrating objective measures from the patients’ daily lives into the research process, examining their association with treatment outcomes.
Outside of her academic work, Michal enjoys reading books, playing music, and spending time with friends.
